It is a lovely day (at last, after many weeks of horrible non-summer like weather) and we are enjoying getting to know each other and setting up our routines.

To end the year we held our annual concert and prize-giving, with the Year Sixes all up for a range of subject and character value prizes.
Congratulations to Lauryn (shown at right) on being awarded the Jubilee Honours Cup for being the top overall student -well deserved!
There were Excellence Awards and Merit Certificates handed out for the curriculum subjects, and the Hall Family Character Cup, the Helen Keir Diligence Prize, and the Jayne Diack Memorial Trophy for Effort and Progress in Literacy, as well as the Menzies College Values Awards and a big thank you to the six members of the Student Council Team.
Mrs Coyle is very proud to say she taught the past-pupils below who have achieved to high levels at Menzies College - Joseph Ferguson was announced as the 2017 Head Boy, and Jordan Stuart (below, on the left) achieved the award of joint-Dux - congrats to you both.
Another ex-pupil, Samantha Johnstone, was also announced as the Dux for Gore High School. It just shows that our Edendale students have the right stuff to go on and do well!
The last day was when we held our Year Six Farewell lunch, with Mrs Pask presenting each student with a bible on behalf of the Bible In Schools group, as well as the Year Six booklet (lots of fun to read!)
And for a bit of a laugh - here is the video of the staff performing a lip synch to Tina Turner's 'Proud Mary' - enjoy!!
At Edendale Primary School we are...confident, connected, actively involved, lifelong learners.
