New reading resource

We are very grateful to our Home and School committee for recently purchasing a new reading resource for our senior pupils to use.
Today we began using The Comprehension Box - a set of 150 short fiction and non-fiction story cards, with follow up question cards, to help us build and practice our comprehension skills. Each level gradually gets more difficult as we work our way through the levels.
We can select which story cards we wish to read within our current level and we are self-monitoring our answers, checking to see if we are accurate enough to move up a level (once we have had three scores of 90% or 100% on a level).
Thanks Edendale Home and School!
